it is fun to teach shakespeare but at times a little embarrassing because we all know that shakespearean writing can be a little 'too romantic' for impressionable minds...... but what is Shakespearean literature without romance and for that matter any literature and art without fantasy and romance would ring hollow and fail at the onset because none but the romantics should be connoisseurs of literature...literature is synonymous with romance.....with life......with a life full of romance....
so though practical sense makes me feel that children are at times overexposed yet the romantic in me fails to agree.....because u either love literature or u don't
I for one loved literature even before i knew what it is all about.That brings me to reading,if students don't read not many will love or create literature...
